Job Title : Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer with J2EE and Forms/Reports

Duration: 6 months with possible long-term extension

Rate: 50 / hour C2C/1099 or $ 45/hr W2 only
Job Description
The Senior Oracle Developer will contribute to the support and development of new and existing applications that are used for research and reporting (investments). The primary focus area will be application development using PL/SQL, J2EE, and Oracle Reports/Forms. This Senior Oracle Developer will work closely with the development team to review functional specifications, estimate the work, and implement the deliverables.


The ideal candidate will have excellent technical, organizational and communication skills. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience developing enterprise level applications and have deep understanding of the required tools and technologies.

Job Requirements


· 7 years of broad experience as an application/database developer

· Minimum of 5 years experience in database development using PL/SQL

· Minimum of 3 years of Oracle Reports/Forms development

· Minimum of 3 years experience in J2EE development

· Strong experience in database performance tuning and SQL tuning

· Experience in UNIX Shell Scripting

· Comfortable trouble-shooting existing applications and developing new applications.

· Ability to support multiple applications and priorities.

· Ability to work independently or as part of a team, and needs to be very detail-oriented

· Strong communication skills

· Investments industry or Financial Services experience is desirable
