Documentum Developer contract

Rate Range:$ 50-55 PER HOUR to 1099 OR $40 per hour on W-2 with benefits (STS candidates only-H1-B, GC OR CITIZENS)

Team member to lead the application design of Document Management system with Documentum 5.3
Position Responsibilities:
§Apply analytical techniques and technical skills to design, develop and unit test Documentum document management application.
§Ability to interpret Use Cases and convert the requirements into Technical Specifications.
§Design, develop, upgrade, test, implement and document software components of client server applications and/or Internet/Web based systems; contribute to all phases of the software development life cycle.
§Ability to work independently and use critical thinking to accomplish a task.
§Ability to interact with Business unit to understand the issue and determine the proper strategic solution implementation.
§Should have strong product and domain knowledge of Documentum Product Suite, including, but not limited to

Documentum Administrator
Documentum Application Builder
Documentum Application Installer
Documentum Content Server
Documentum Index Server
Documentum Content Transformation Services
Documentum Desktop
Documentum WebTop

§Should have very good understanding and working knowledge of Documentum DMCL, DFC, WDK and BOF APIs.
§Applicant should be well familiar with application architecture of various Documentum components.
§Applicant should have supported at least one enterprise Documentum implementation (document management) for at least one large company.
§Experience with installation of enterprise Documentum applications.
§Should be able to independently handle support cases with EMC, Infrastructure teams and Business users.
§Identifies and anticipates technical/architectural issues that affect the successful delivery of projects.

Position Requirements:
§Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Minimum 5 years experience.
§Minimum 2-5 years experience with Documentum, .NET, VB, UML and Object Oriented Analysis and Design Methodologies.
§Must have strong problem-solving skills as well as decision-making skills.
§Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
§Prior experience leading projects for implementation of EMC Documentum is required.
§Ability to work with team located in multiple locations.
