I.POSITION SUMMARY:
The POMS Administrator will be responsible for configuration of POMS with various instruments such as generic assets, Scales, barcode scanners, barcode printers. The person also will be responsible to create documentation for POMS configuration activities. The POMS administrator will work closely with the Application Support group and other members of the Design & Development sub-function. This position requires a good understanding of Honeywell POMS version 5.01 Configuration and Administration.
II.PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
·Creation of Documentation for Configuring POMS with assets, Scales, Barcode scanners and Printers.
·Reconfiguring the existing POMS environment.
·Troubleshoot configuration errors.
·Produce documentation of configuration according to 21 CFR Part 11 requirements.
IV.POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:Bachelors in Engineering/Science or equivalent professional experience preferred.
Experience:
2-3 years current experience in Honeywell POMS version 5.01 Administration is mandatory.
Understanding of 21 CFR Part 11 Documentation practices.
Knowledge of system validation procedure(s) in the regulated environment.
Broad understanding of Clinical material manufacturing process.
Configuration of POMS version 5.01 with Assets, Scales, Barcode scanners and Printers is a must.
Familiarity with Oracle databases 8i and 9i.
General trouble shooting and resolution capability are very critical.
