Sr Informatica developer with Pharmaceutical experience

.The ideal candidate would have a mixture of skill sets including the ability to program software applications such as Informatica PowerCenter,
.Oracle reporting applications, SQL, and I-Review.
.Strong knowledge is required in building a data warehouse and programming the Extraction, Transformation and Loading of source data.
.Also required are experience and understanding of data modeling to support clinical data visualization and review needs and drug safety signal detection.
Main Responsibilities:
1.Program an Informatica repository to store objects created in the support of the ETL process.
2.Program in an Informatica environment to create mappings,workflows, etc. to support the ETL process.
3.Create and enforce mappings rules for transforming and loading external data.
4.Manage metadata about the data and its transformations to aid users in accessing and analyzing the data.
5.Test report objects within the I-Review application that were created using data stored in the Clinical Data Warehouse.
6.Train I-Review programmers on the structure of the new clinical data model.
Qualifications and Experience:
· Business analyst experience in gathering end-user requirements and assisting business community in defining what they need from a process that involves a software application
· Expertise with Informatica PowerCenter
· Training experience in software tools
· Working knowledge of clinical data management, data collection and data review
· An understanding of clinical data modelling of pharmaceutical clinical trial data
· 1-3 years experience in handling biomedical data and relational databases
· Working knowledge of design and construction of clinical trial databases and related objects within Oracle Clinical and any Electronic Data Capture systems
· Working knowledge of clinicalprogramming within Oracle Clinical during the course of clinical studies
· Scientific or relevant business or technical degree (or equivalent qualification) is essential
