Environment and Deployment Analyst

Duration:15-month contract
Location: McLean, VA.
The rate cap for this position is $ 50 /hour.

Responsible for performing builds and deployments for multiple projects as a part of Centralized Deployment team. Maintain build environment, scripts and automate the build processes. Author and maintain build and deployment documentation. Participate in technical meetings and review sessions. Research and improve methods of production builds and deployments based on industry standards.

Requirements: B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education, training and experience required. Knowledge of Unix scripting and Unix environments. Good understanding of Software Development Lifecycle environments of SCM practices, processes, measurements and tools. Working knowledge in J2EE environments is a huge plus. Distributed Windows/SUN platforms. Knowledge of using change management and defect management tools such as Rational ClearCase and Rational ClearQuest is a plus. Experience with SCM tool preferred (build/compile tools a plus). Good verbal/written communication and teamwork skills required. Detail oriented, methodical and excellent organization skills also required.”
