PeopleSoft/Oracle DBA needed for 15-month contract in McLean, VA.

PREFERABLY CANDIDATES LOCAL TO VIRGINIA, MARYLAND WASHINGTON DC AREA.

Responsibilities: Design, develop, implement, maintain and enhance databases that support PeopleSoft ERP and financial applications in the secondary mortgage market. Critical skills: Job requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills may be obtained in Oracle 9.2.0.5 and 10g. 5 years PeopleSoft and database administration experience with Oracle in an AIX or Solaris operating system environment designing, developing, implementing, maintaining and enhancing databases. Technical Skills: Previous experience should include providing technical responses to business area inquiries. SQL performance and tuning, program development assistance and 24x7 on-call support. Researching and implementing new/improved database features with Oracle, SQL BackTrack and Autosys. Applicant should be able to demonstrate proficiency with UNIX scripting. Experience should include the installation and maintenance of replication processing.”
