BI Consultant

Location: Philadelphia, PA (Horsham) – open to relocation candidates
Length: 6 months
Rate: $50 to sub or 1099

SAC is looking for an experienced Business Intelligence Consultant for a 6 month contract in Philadelphia, PA. (Horsham)

This contractor will be responsible for managing the relationship between the software development teams and infrastructure teams to ensure common technology direction.

5 or more years experience including:

* Systems and/or business analysis or design experience in application support and development
* Supporting and administering Business Objects Unix & Widows based systems.
* SQL & Oracle Server project database administration
* Corporate administration in an NT server environment
* Working in a multiple server environment and following change management policies and producers
* Understand the technology and business environments, application and process capabilities, and architectural constraints, and is capable of leveraging and successfully applying this information to bring the best solution forward.
* Knowledge of enterprise change management process in a mid to large size environment.

Other Duties:

* Supports setup, implementation and integration of the Business Objects Unix & Windows platforms.
* Define system requirements, use case development, and conceptual and logical modeling.
* Work closely with Business Representatives and Analysts, Application Architects, Data Analysts and Vendor Software Developers to provide analytical support to ensure system and business requirements are clearly documented and understood in relation to system and application maintenance, upgrades and vendor enhancements.
* Own and manage system requirements and will support business requirement definition.
* Participate in the overall design and development of the technology solution.
* Understand the fundamentals of supporting system hardware and software.
* Work closely with the infrastructure teams to understand enterprise roll outs of code changes.
* Work with the business to drive out any business or system requirements and make the appropriate system configuration changes.
* Work closely with the QA\QC team to document, test and support any system enhancements.
