PowerBuilder Developer

Start Date: 02/26/07
Location: Cleveland HQ
Duration: 12 months (+)
Rate: 47/hr to sub or 1099 (1099 preferred, since they would work directly with us)

Project Description:
Primary duties of this position include the development, testing and implementation of software functionality (primarily PowerBuilder and PL/SQL) for distribution applications. Additional duties will include software requirements gathering, software design and 2nd tier support.

Technical Experience/Skills Required:
5+ years of experience in client server application development.

Experience with the following: Software development in a Windows environment.
Powerbuilder GUI development (version 10 experience is a plus.)
Oracle pl/sql development, stored procedure development (Version 8i+)
Unix production environment (file system navigation, vi, shell variables and scripting is a big plus).

Non-Technical Skills Required:
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written); ability to organize multiple assignments simultaneously; proven ability to analyze, troubleshoot and fix issues. Team player.

Technical Experience/Skills Preferred:
Warehouse management environment knowledge. Prior Sherwin experience on the AWACS system is a big plus.

Transactional based system development experience. Understanding of data persistence techniques.
