Web Apps Developer

Location: San Francisco, CA

Duration: 6-12 months

Compensation: $ 50-52 /hr Corp to Corp or 1099

Job Description: Our customer, Wells Fargo is looking for an experienced contractor with skill-sets for Web Application Development.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes, tests, and debugs assigned production issues
• Analyzes specifications to code and unit-test new features or modifications to existing functionality

Required experience

1. Experience with large, mission critical applications
2. Experience with the Software Development Lifecycle
3. Ability to work in a complex environment interacting with multiple internal organizations in different geographic locations.
4. 5+ years in Java development
5. 2+ years in web development
6. 2+ years with the struts framework
7. Working knowledge of Web Services
8. Solid understanding of XML and SOAP
9. Solid understanding of design patterns: e.g. Singleton, MVC, Factory, Delegate
10. Experience with the Unix operating system (Solaris 8 and 10 preferred)

Desired skills

1. Working knowledge of Apache web server
2. Experience with Eclipse and ClearCase
3. Working knowledge of JUnit
