Application Configurator / System Analyst

Project Description:
Skills Required – Senior level:
. Strong developer experience in Java, J2EE technology.
. Experience building applications on top of BEA Weblogic middleware, is a plus
. Strong System Integration Engineering experience:
o Hands on execution of a system architecture.
o Building an application stack for third party tools.

Necessary Skills (Must Have):
WebLogic, Java, Java IDE's, J2EE technologies, C
Example Tools: Eclipse; Insight; CodeCrawler; RoboHelp; VisualizeIT

Additional Skills Desired (Nice to Have):
. Able to analyze reports from WAN characterization testing and performance tuning tools.
. Be familiar with setting up applications for external network communication with global external vendor resources across the WAN.

Daily Responsibilities/Skills:
. Familiar with system integration using these technologies:
o Java, web based J2EE apps
o WebLogic (middleware)
o Redline (load balance)
o SQL/Oracle/Versant - with high availability clustering.
o external network communications
. Experienced at system integration development work for complex application builds.
. Abl e to provide application system integration solutions for system development that extends existing application build solutions.
. Must document system build steps with thorough accuracy to result in gold build documentation for newly developed integration. A "quick study" while consulting with experienced system integration engineers who are familiar with the specific vendor technology.

. Reverse Engineering
o Able to handle situations where there is no clear understanding of the software design of an application. Ability to expose understanding of the underlying architecture. Able to use reverse engineering to get a visual perspective of the system.
o Example Tools: Eclipse; Insight; CodeCrawler; RoboHelp; VisualizeIT;
