B. Please describe the day-to-day responsibilities of the position:

The position requires constant/frequent face to face meetings, daily interaction with the Atlan team server configuration and installation close to project team and labs. Excellent communication skills. Also this is a senior position with a very specialized skill-set with new technology (SQL Server 2005).

· Design of database objects and overall database architecture

· Solution design and implementation using SQL Server tools such as DTS, SSIS, SSAS, etc.

· Promote database disciplines and SLAS DB standards

· Setup/configuration/backup & restore of Dev & QA Environment(s)

· Development of stored procedures

· Review and configuration of database security and permissions

· Review of Database code

· Technical Documentation

· Manage database code and versioning by utilizing SourceSafe or Visual Studio Team System
